How do I choose between the 8-level and 9-level models?

The QM series is lighter at 1.30 kg with 1-7L flow and 2.0-5.0 hours of runtime. The KPA series is 1.45 kg with 1-8L flow, a higher maximum setting and up to 8 hours. Choose the QM for daily carry and short trips, the KPA for higher flow or longer runtime.

Do I need to change settings when using it in Lhasa?

It is advisable to go one level higher than you would on the lowland, because lower intake oxygen partial pressure weakens the effect at the same setting. The unit supports pulse plus fixed and pulse plus fixed plus DC modes, switchable to match your activity.

Can it be taken on a plane?

The host can be carried, but the lithium battery is a regulated item for air transport. Whether it may be boarded and whether prior approval is needed is determined by the operating airline - confirm with them before travelling.
